I support the manual and have translated it into German.
Because no one from the darktable team has answered your questions yet, I'll
give it a try.
If you like to help optimize and proofread the user manual you will need

I'd like to help with documentation but I'm not a very experienced user.
Might there be something I could do such as proofing or technical editing
(testing)?
I presume that I'd have to have 2.7 installed (which I would do but I
haven't done so yet). Would I have to keep with nightly builds?

In darktable there are two kinds of modules: image processing ("iop" for
short) and all the others, like those on l
