I cloned the darktable code from git and I saw there aren't any comments in
the code. Is there somewhere an introduction to the code, where I can start?

Hi Sven,
did you tried also the second algorithm (levin-matting) which you can
select in the foreground selection tool? I think it's better then the
default algorithm.
