Same issue here, Ubuntu 22.04. Issue started Tuesday. Had compiled ok

I had not used dt for a couple of weeks, I did an update from git and
compiled, no error messages. Program opened ok and I opened the new photo
directory. Applied stars ok and then limited the selection to 4 stars.

I have been compiling dt for a while. Yesterday I ran the script to update
against github and compile. Got the error message:

No pain here as I do not work with movies, but found it interesting. I cannot
find dav1d in Ubuntu 19. I did find the libavif project in github; it does
seem to be quite recent.

I have version 2.6 (ppa) and 3.0rc, compiled on a KDE/Ubuntu laptop. The Nikon
D850 does not appear in the drop-down list of either program. Checking in the
darktable-user list at least one person reported finding the camera at the
bottom of the list.
Any suggestions?

I found the compile issue with the libxml2 library, and successfully compiled
the 3.0rc on a KDE/Ubuntu platform. No issues when executing, so far.
However, the program does not associate the Nikon D850 in the lens correction
module, nor is it displayed in the drop-down list. I did find
