Just use the makefile targets directly:

my favorite shell is tcsh, but cygwin always starts up in bash. I tried playing with
the cygwin.bat file, but i couldn't get it to work. does anyone know how to
reconfigure cygwin to start up in other shells?
Thank you.

Is it a normal and wanted behavior? (don't think so, it works fine on debian)
Is it not wanted but normal (windows restriction maybe)?
Or is it some kind of bug in the fork implementation?

BTW, the error is not the same as the usual "unable to Remap to same
address as parent".
Here, its "unable to map " with error 126 which means the dll has not been
found (indeed, the file is deleted), imo, the child process just shouldn't
search

Dynamic linking support is not included yet, but will soon be.

This ___chkstk_ms business is inserted by gcc and should be part of the C
runtime library. Which version of gcc do you have? On cygwin, OCaml needs gcc
version 4.7.2 because of an unknown problem with the gcc-4.5.3-3 package.

I don't like RPN calculators but I want to report that I'm making good
progress on porting OCaml to cygwin-64.
Unfortunately, a package will probably have to wait until October
m :-) OTOH I'm really busy now with the next OCaml
release, so cygwin will have to wait a little bit.
