Hi,
I posted earlier about having problems linking opengle and dlls, but
now that is fixed (Thanx for your help!). However, now my code runs
without error, but no display window opens. I have transfered my code
to a lab-mate's computer and it runs and opens a display window, but
mine does not.

Hello,
I'm running mutt on Cygwin (v. 1.5). I'm using the standard packages
version supplied by Cygwin, 1.4.2.2i. My mail directory is Maildir,
mounted on a managed mount to cope with the naming convention.
The mount entry is (note: line may get wrapped):

Today I decided to try urxvt-X to see if I like it better than xterm.
After installing it, I noticed a couple of things that seemed odd, and
am wondering whether or not these are intentional behaviors.
First, it did not install its own compiled terminfo file in
/usr/share/terminfo/r. I noticed tha
It's been a few years since I've installed a new Cygwin installation. I
used to use XEmacs in Cygwin, and it worked reasonably well. I could get it
to start up in a regular MS Windows window, I believe without having to use
an X server.
I just installed Cygwin again on a new box, and I'm having

The only problem I had was
that emacs was looking for it in the wrong place (I presume this is
because my emacs [the latest Cygwin build] is compiled against the old

This won't be an issue much longer, at least for people who start using

I'm trying to build the "trueprint" app on Cygwin, and it's failing with the
following:
undefined reference to `_libintl_gettext'
I had to do this many years ago, and I believe I ran into this then also,
but I don't remember what I had to do to resolve it.
When I run "configure" it comes out

I have a generated postscript file (from trueprint) that I need to get into
a usable form on Windows, so I can view it and print it. I've tried both
"ps2pdf" and "gs", with no success so far.
I first tried using "ps2pdf". This fails with:
---
% ps2pdf tp.ps tp.pdf
GPL Ghostscript 8.
I'm now to the point where I can run "rxvt", and then from the spawned Bash
process I can run "emacs" and get a reasonable Emacs process going. I can
do the same with "xemacs".
I now need to set up Windows desktop icons that can start these processes.
I managed to get XEmacs working, with the fol
