There had been another thread pertaining to the graph seg-fault problem and I
don't think i have any new information, the strace looked the same as what i
was getting before.

Hi,
Just got a new computer at work, so it got a very fresh install of cygwin.
The problem i was having with the fonts not displaying correctly in Julia is
now gone, and that's much more important than it sounds. A great many of the
julia packages, and some that I use frequently, make heavy u

Well I know that my work computer is running a lot of crap to "protect" me.
I tried to go through and start disabling it today, and as you might guess I
can't.
I have si

Hi,
So i noticed graph wasn't doing anything, i could even get it to respond to the
help argument.
I attached strace to it, and it shows that it was seg-faulting.
I _just_ did an update, specifically to see if that would fix it and it did not.

Hi,
Windows question, but since it has to do with the way cygwin has assigned
permissions, i thought it would be a relevant questions. i'm in the very
unfortunate position of having a PC that won't boot properly.
by some miracle i've got access to the C: drive and i'm trying to back up my

oh, i was thinking i could simply select a previous version of cygwin as a
whole.
are you talking about selecting previous versions of specific packages ?

Hi,
Doesn't matter what terminal i'm using, I'm having a problem with the way
graphic characters print.
Julia uses unicode output, and will generate output that should look like this:
julia> x=DataFrame([(1,2,3), (4,5,6)])
2×3 DataFrame
│ Row │ 1 │ 2 │ 3 │
│ │ Int64 │ Int64 │ I
