I have compiled and installed insight-6.0 pre-lease version which fetched from CVS
server on linux. Iam albe to connect to my own target. I am trying to do the same on
cygwin(on XP). I can do only with CLI. I am not able to connect to the target through
the GUI, hence not able to downloa

Installing the older version does make a difference.
I am using the installers from http://lexa.mckenna.edu/sshwindows/ on
remote systems.
Using the 20030512 build which includes sshd version 3.6.1p1-1 led to
the problems described previously.
Reverting to the 20030203 build (ssh 3.5p1-3) immediat

It looks like you had /home/Administrator as your home directory even
before you changed the user name. This would indicate that this
information comes from somewhere else. Do you have HOME set in your
Windows environment?
I also don't recall you attaching the output of "cygcheck -svr"
That's fine. Actually, it would be worthwhile to hear what the result
of this reveals (i.e. does it work or not). Please let the list know
whether the 3.5 version solves the problem for you.

to the older version. However, I posted the question to this list several
days ago and haven't received any replies. I need a solution now so I can

some script using perl and shell...maybe later, i will
