Is there anyway to have the systems not be named to d-mac-add? Would also like to specify the IP address and change networking to a different address scheme than 192.168.124. It's a flat network with just a /24. No other interfaces except two nics are bonded.

Greg, Can you give some background about the system? This sounds very much like a "node exists in Chef" problem in CB1 that happens when users try to delete and rediscover nodes. I'd suggest logging into the Chef server and seeing if the node is listed there. Rob From: crowbar-bounces On Beh
