Butcho,
Welcome. I’m assuming you’re referring to Crowbar 1.x ? I don’t think
you can change the d-MAC naming scheme that’s in Crowbar 1.x.
To modify your cluster network specifications, In Crowbar 1.x you need to
modify your bc-template-network.json config file PRIOR to running the
“install”
Is there anyway to have the systems not be named to d-mac-add? Would also like
to specify the IP address and change networking to a different address scheme
than 192.168.124.
It's a flat network with just a /24. No other interfaces except two nics are
bonded.
Closing the loop on this for the list...
we deleted the Role ("crowbar_node###") from the Chef server's database (port
:40404) and rebooted the node. That appears to have resolved the problem.

Greg,
Can you give some background about the system? This sounds very much like a
"node exists in Chef" problem in CB1 that happens when users try to delete and
rediscover nodes.
I'd suggest logging into the Chef server and seeing if the node is listed there.

HI folks,
Looking for some guidance...
Node will PXE boot and obtain an image just fine. The node console is showing
the state as unallocated as expected and awaiting instruction from Crowbar.
Within the Crowbar GUI I never see the node appear. I am not seeing

Oh, you're talking about Crowbar 2.0. Well, my point still stands:

Hi,
I initially wanted to summarize where we stand with pull requests, and
list those that should be okay to go in, and those that need further
review. But we reached a point where even doing this is just too
painful: there are 114 pull requests opened right now; I would estimate
that 90 of them o
