As I recall you were converting windows bmp files.
I believe windows bmp files are RGBA ... the converter you are using
may be expecting ARGB

It was suggested to make sure the icons have an alpha channel, so I reloaded
them into GraphiConverter, and set it so they would have an alpha-channel mask,
which I then copied from the icon
