Stus-List C&C 33 Main Sail Sheave

We have a main halyard sheave at the top of the mast that needs replacing. Anyone ever done this? Not sure where to look for parts and if it can be done without stepping the mast. Any advice is appreciated. I have a picture if it's allowed. Jessica 1975 C&C 33 _
