We are purchasing a good sized motorboat and considering selling our beloved
C&C. We bought a cottage on Cayuga Lake a year ago and discovered the
"dockable" water depth would not comfortably support the 6.5 foot draft.
Leading us to decide how to cure the conflicting interests of my age and

I have the B&G V50. It is the same as the HS-35. Like Josh, I love it. AIS
receive only and works fantastic. I got it when defender had the V50 and the
H50 wireless remote for 350 last fall. The CPA alarms really work well.

Glad I’m not the only one with this issue. My speed impeller stopped
functioning about four weeks ago. I pulled it, and it was crusted up with
barnacles. I cleaned the impeller up and reinserted. Yeah. Speed again. Sure
enough a month later I go out and no speed. I figured I’d be resigned to

Every few months I ask my wife if we should sell our beloved 1982 C&C 37. And
being the practical spouse, she says yes. The last time we sailed her was
returning from the Block Island rendezvous many years ago. A few of you may
remember the rendezvous’ final day as being a sensational sail.
As Beemer, 29MKII, is finally in the water in Biloxi, I am hoping to get her
ready for the G>P race.
In addition, any listers down in the area are always welcome aboard.
