Not really. Most folks I know still squeal like little girls when a
cockroach shows up. Palmetto bugs are almost as bad. But the cats love
to hunt them.
Oddly, snakes and other critters are no worries. You just stop moving,
they check you out, and move on.

We took the main off and bagged it, and brought the main, jib, and genoa
home for a washing.
Moving from our slip down-canal a few hundred feet to a tie off point,
we all forgot about the overhanging tree and promptly ran the mast into

I'm open for suggestions for my 24' as well. Strictly coastal, but out

I got a couple of oxfords and polos and was surprised by the
heavy-weight fabric. Looking forward to getting into them once they get
washed a couple of times to get rid of the storage odor.

hello to the group. I have a C&C-24 I use for short river sails near my

I have a single 3/8" line on 18" (or so) stanchions. On the starboard
side cockpit, the line has an eye and hook affair that allows you to
step onto the boat, and hook it back together once aboard.
A much simpler situation, but it can be done.

way to do inspection/repair is to loosen
the bow stay and both shrouds, and just lay the mast down aft. We can
then stand on the dock and fiddle about with it.
It seems perfectly reasonable up front. Anyone with 24 experience beg to
