To all those who thanked me for my organizing efforts, you're very
welcome. I try to remind everyone that what I do is pretty insignificant
considering the efforts which we all put forth to attend. I also like to
remind everyone that this is not MY Rendezvous. If someone has interest in

I had this happen with my car. I try to sample the oil while hot and do so
with a suction tube and sample pump. The tube jammed as it was going down
in and when I tried to withdraw it I could feel slight resistance. Further

Moving somewhere new is always fun. So far both locations have been 3 hours
away for us, so we’ll take a turn going farther to let some more people have a
shorter trip.

You did a great job of organizing the rendezvous! Thank you very much!
If the rendezvous will be a week before the sailboat show next year and we can
hold it at Anchorage Marina in Baltimore, Maggie and I will be glad to organize
it and give you a break.

Hi,
This video was very helpful to get the air bled out of the system. In the end,
it was just air and not any gunk that I could see inside the tank. That said,
I’ll get some of the biocide mentioned and worry a bit less. I bled up to the
injectors and then flipped them off and cranked for a fe
Hey Bob,
Baltimore is an interesting idea for next year's rendezvous. It would be
October 3rd as the show is scheduled for 7th thru 12th in 2020.
I'm not voting for or against, just clarifying the date. It does mean that
people could fly into Baltimore Airport and Uber over.

YES!!
The primary will catch WATER and dirt and so on and you can drain the water and
change the much larger filter. The secondary filter on the engine is an
emergency backstop to prevent engine damage. It will clog fast if used as a
primary.
Note that biocide is good to keep al
Yes. Mine has saved me – the surface area and collection area are much much

A sad day. I must replace my trusted, hand cranked, ancient Garmin 48 (feeding
ST60 MFD) that deservedly bit the dust after many years of admirable service.
I am thinking Android (not an Apple fan) tablet with waterproof case. Can
those feed too the Raymarine network when tied in down below?

Yes.
The Racor filter should protect you from the majority of the gunk, to the point
that your secondary filter (the one you have) should feel unemployed.
If you suspect the quality of the fuel, carrying a spare element makes a lot of
sense.
