I received the blessing from the Admiral to equip Zia with a folding prop this season. I have been looking at our options and the Gori 2 blade geared prop 11.5 X 8 looks like it would do the job. Before I pull the trigger on this, I would like to check with the list for opinions/experiences on b

I put a 13 X 9 Gori 2 blade on my on my Yanmar YSB12 equipped 27 MKIII and after 7 or 8 years of service have no regrets whatsoever. The pitch of the prop you select for your 30 depends very much on your engine and gearing, but in general you want the largest diameter prop that will still give a

Almost all A4s use a 7/8" shaft. Just FYI, I had a Martec folding prop and *hated it*. The ONLY good thing it did was fold up. Sounds like the Gori is better. joe Coquina C&C 35 MK I -Original Message- From: CnC-List [mailto:cnc-list-boun...@cnc-list.com] On Behalf Of JP Mail via CnC-Li

When I was looking a number of years ago, I found the Flex-o-fold prop to be of better quality than the Gori. Smoother mechanism, finer machining, etc. Can't say much more because the Flex has been on the boat for over 10 years. Happy. Gary 30-1 Yanmar 2QM15. -Original Message- From: CnC-

I have the Gori 11.5 x 8 on Windburn, also with an Atomic 4. My guess is that it is slightly over pitched and that 11.5 x 7.5 or 11.5 x 7 might be the optimal size. I have not found it to be an issue since Windburn is kept light for racing and bereft of bimini and dodger. While motor sailing, thos
