I don't know how you get the line stripper off, but the winch body on the 18s is confined by a spring clip in a groove on the spindle shaft. The clip is like 2 turns of a slinky. You have to pick out the top end with a small screwdriver or a knife, and then work the rest of it off bit by bit car
