Any advice appreciated--Tively II is a C& C 32 with a 2qm yanmar. The tach is
no longer registering rpm. Not sure if this is an electrical (ie loose wire)

That said, C&C really should have put midships cleats on the damn
boats. (At least on the ones over 10,000 lbs).

You say that your slip has 3 piling on each side so why not run your spring
lines from the middle piling to the bow with another from the middle piling
to the stern. That's how I have always done it on my boats.
