Has anyone added coaming boxes in the cockpit? Was it worth the effort to store suntan lotion, etc? The only possible impediment I see is the bolts from my secondary winches. -- Joel 35/3 The Office Annapolis ___ This List is provided by the C&C Photo

Joel, I added one to the port side of my cockpit and find it to be very handy. It was very easy to cut out and I butyl tape to seal it. Got the box from Defender. I'll be adding one to the starboard side soon. James 38 mkII Delaney Oriental, NC - Original Message - From: Joel Aronson

I decided on the Electric Yachts out of Minnesota. Last year I had a chance to sail on a twin 1974 C&C 35-II which was outfitted with the same unit and I was impressed. FYI building the battery box took forever, as was the engineering how to fix it to the area where the fuel tank used to be, b

The SSI Plastics boxes are angled so that the water drains out and doesn't collect and they are all plastic so nothing to rot. I know what you mean on some of the built-in boxes though. James Delaney 38 MkII Oriental, NC - Original Message - From: Rick Brass To: cnc-list@cnc-list.
