Joe,
Bacon's works closely with Quantum. I suspect Q will actually do the
work, I bought my last two binnacle/helm covers through Bacon but Q's guys
measured and sewed. The did great work on both.
BTW If you buy sails from Bacon they are designed on Q's computer.

My canvas from Genco is now 17 years old. The actual Sunbrella has held up
well. I give it the treatment every year and it is as waterproof as ever and
does not appear stiff or sun rotted. OTOH the threads that hold it together –
not so much. My Bimini really needed some stitching to be useable
