That is quite a process. The yard suggested
I added some longitudinal stringers to a 24 foot racer years ago. The
owner wanted to strengthen the hull in the aft section. I used preformed
foam core stringers like these.

This is a very good question. I would drop the
keel and restore the stringer/hull integrity first!
This is the basis of your keel/hull interface.
The rebed of keel is fairly routine once this is done.
