Greg, I made up a couple of pieces of aluminium (carpet edge?) that worked
well for a couple of seasons, but now allows slides to come out under
pressure and not go back in without unscrewing the whole thing. I'm going
to either add stiffening to stop the center bowing out, or tap another
fastener
