I crewed on a Laser 28 many years ago. The owner moved up from a Catalina 27.
The Laser was more like a large dinghy. Fast but tender. Upwind you had to
play the mainsheet more than the traveler to allow the main to twist.

as the C&C. I like the Andrews , but it is a little pricy.

What are you getting? Andrews 28 for sail on East Coast is a great
trailerable. New J88 trailerable but needs crane. J70/Melges 24 etc
trailer launchable and fast. S2 7.9 traditional trailerable
