Hi Gang!
Thanks for all the suggestions and I have passed them on to my good friend, I
also think the CCA guide is adequate.
He is a lucky dog being able to go for a long trip North, I am still slogging
it out at work for another 10 years so I can only pull off nice long weekends :)

I borrowed the hardcover first edition of Dr. Peter Loveridge's *A **Cruising

through it. It seemed well thought out and informative so I'll second this
suggestion.

Hi,
My first time posting to the list; hopefully I'm doing it right! (I
recently joined the ranks of C&C owners when I purchased a 1970 Frigate
36 - more posts to follow in the future!) Anyway, to the subject...I
have always relied on Dr. Peter Loveridge's _A __Cruising Guide to Nova
Scotia_.
David,
would love to know your itinerary for that trip!! How long were out on
that cruise?

Hi Mike,
Last summer we sailed up to Nova Scotia (from RI) and, when we got there,
we used the CCA guide. It seemed adequate for the harbor hopping that we

What is a good Cruising Guide Source for Nova Scotia etc? there are a couple on

It's all good, spend as much time as possible between Halifax and
Shelburne, you will love St. Margaret's Bay and Mahone Bay, I know them
both very well so contact me if you want.

Hey cruisers
I’m just sitting here doing some arm chair sailing and planning our upcoming
cruise south. Can anyone recommend a good cruising guide for Eastern Canada.
Our plan is to flush out the St, Lawrence and spend the summer on the east
coast.
Any suggestion greatly appreciated.
Mike
