If you already have a NMEA 2000 backbone you can get a NG to 2000 cable.
The NG connectors are smaller and easier to snake. but the wire is the
same. You could also get a Maretron DIY 2000 connector to make your owne
NG to 2000 cable.

Edd — the new Raymarine EVO series would be my hands-down favorite. And since
you’ve already got the drive in place, much of the work would be done.
Which Octopus drive model have you got? That will determine the maximum
current for the Raymarine ACU (course computer).
