Hi Dennisthat sounds like what I have. To disassemble I have a bent fork
tool (came with the boat) that goes into pin holes opposite each other on the
top of the winch in the collar. I just fit the fork into the pinholes and spin
it off. I have heard - probably on this list - of placing
shaft
simply slides into the center pinion and was stuck. A couple taps from
underneath popped it out the top.
