Apparently Harken does recommend McLube OneDrop Ball Bearing
Conditioner for use in their ball bearing travelers and battcars:

The main on my boat, 43' hoist was a bear and needed the winch when I first got
her. After some time, I found the sheaves in my organizer were frozen and
didn't turn. The main halyard ran through them easily until the load came on
and then the frozen sheaves made it very hard. Freed them up when

I had enough of this and installed a Tides Marine Mast Track system on
Honey's mast a few years ago. Would suggest that you try the McLube route
before unstepping the rig or spending a bunch of boat bucks for a Tides
Marine System

Agreed — I was going to suggest MacLube in the mast track. Made a huge
difference. Maybe it’s just a Landfall 38 thing, but I doubt it… :^)
