The PO of our boat used SeaHawk in Mobile Bay. It looked great at the
survey after 2-ish years.
I'm now in North Carolina in the Pamlico River. Had SeaHawk Biocop TF
blue put on May 2017. I had the boat pulled last week to install a a PYI

I’m curious to see the responses as well. Last year was my first with ablative
bottom paint and I used TotalBoat Underdog. Great reviews, but my experience
in the Chesapeake Bay was that I had to be hauled and pressure washed by late
summer, because I couldn’t get the engine above an idle. T
My first keel boat (Southcoast 23) used Tri Butyl Tin bottom paint. It
was in Lake Texhoma when I bought it and I moved it to Lake Lewisville
(Dallas' primary drinking water reservoir). I changed over to a copper
based ablative when I brought her up to Lake Michigan.

I used it and it did pretty well. Not as well as it did before they got
caught using illegal toxins, but still good.
NOTHING though even comes close to mind 70s Sears bottom paint. It kept
barnacles out of the entire marina, not just your boat.

No experience but when I was talking to the contractor that does my bottom
paint about switching paints, he was very high on Sea Hawk paints. Been
using him since 2011 and I respect his opinion.
