Hi Steve, Is this a GRP tank with a lid that is fastened all around the top perimeter? Common in the old days was to use a "food grade" gelcoat rolled on the inside of fabricated tanks. It's probably called "potable water" gelcoat these days. That would explain the cracks/crazing that you see.
