Disappointing news about Kracor.
Typical unfortunately of what happens when a small company is taken over by a
large corporation.

Hi Steve,
I've asked my local boat yard for a quote and will let you know when I hear
back from them. The tank on my boat is a Kracor model 1-5087, 19 gallons,
as indicated on the label on one of the tanks. Both appear to be identical.
The label on the second tank is unreadable.

I sealed mine with West System epoxy. You have to gently heat the tank with
a propane torch just before applying.

Ronco is the company I use for plastic tanks. Solid construction, lots of odd
sizes and shapes. Tank prices aren’t too bad, but shipping is expensive.

Tim. Did you try and plasric weld tank yourself or tank repair? I had 16"
crack in my tank. Had Virginia tank services weld it. $75.00 later and 2 hours
time i was going back to boat to install. Its only been 3 months but i don't
anticipate any problems. It was alot better than the c
