Well, I don't know the exact measurement of the forward V-berth, but let me put
it this way. I'm about 6'3" tall and I
Hi Rick,
Thanks, that’s valuable info.

No idea if that makes a difference in build quality or if that difference is
better or worse. Another reason to have a thorough survey
Hi Randy,
Thanks for the links and info, very helpful! Love the pictures and your
detailed project report. Will certainly keep that on hand.
Not sure if the boat has carbon spars, I will check when we go to visit it. She
sure looks great, that’s what attracted me to the 27 back then too.

nder,
Just curious. Would the CE label be expensive to acquire on a stripped out
hull? What if the other parts arrived elsewhere in the EU? Could they be
inexpensively added after the CE label was acquired?

finished boat would ever look like.
Everything's been removed! Where's the toe rail? There must be a barrel of
nuts and bolts somewhere covered in caulk.
It would be easier to build a new boat from scratch than tackle that old
hulk.

Okay, just to make the topic complete, click the link below to download a
zip file with pictures.
This is only the hull, I didn't take pictures of the rest of it.

Sounds like an adventure!
Seriously though, the shipping, taxes and mandatory CE label would be twice
the price of the boat. Easy.
Gotta love import/export regulation :)

Thanks everyone for your advice!
I have no experience rebuilding boats. And there's really no point in taking
a boat only to deliver it to a scrapyard.
Of course I'm a bit disappointed, I was looking forward to having something
special.. C&C's are not common here. But this project is way over my

Hello readers,
Whilst browsing our local (Dutch) boat market websites, I came across a C&C
25.
I really like how it looks, and I have a bit of a weak spot for IOR class
boats J
Thing is, I couldn't find much information about this boat, nobody I know in
Holland has ever heard of C&C Yachts.
