Strange. Mine has the usual HIN, but it has a decal without the HIN on it on
the edge of the cockpit bridge deck. A logo with something like "Made in
Canada by Santa's Elves"
I seem to recall my buddy's 1984 has a different design logo on his decal.

Having the artwork files available would definitely be a good idea. I will be
scanning my original decal next spring. Apparently the current plan is to not
buy more stock for the GHC Archive Store, so it may become a strictly DIY
situation for us.

Likely would have been fine. It needs to stick AND handle expansion and
contraction.
You can definitely have things too stiff when engineering something.

I thought I had a photo of the sticker, but can't seem to find it. I am
hoping to buy one that is as similar as possible, from the GHC archives store.
