So here is what we are doing on Kindred's stern- both sides: Grind off bump Repair glass / core Add g-10 backer over a large portion of stern (inside) Add new t shaped tang (like wichard baby stay tang) with new ss backing plate (3x8 or so) Repaint stern which was needed anyway I will post pics
