I got a subscription to Sailing Word last year as a favour to a niece (school
fundraising). It had a couple of good articles, and some good regatta reports.

A previous owner of my LF-38 made up some pvc pipe extensions (one for oil, one
for coolant) for use when filling. They mean that you can fill from the
quarter berth, rather than directly over the engine.

My '83 Landfall 38 HIN starts with ZCC.
I would think that any build issues would have become apparent long before now
on a boat that is almost 30 years old.
