on my 1981 36' we redid most of the rod rigging. My rigger (Butler Marine in San Diego) recommended that the old tangs be replaced with the K200 stemball tangs. Apparently these are a better design. Would be happy to share more details, I think I posted some of these details a few months ago. Dav

I have a 1981 C&C 36, bought it about 6 years ago and I am very happy with the boat. It is a bit tender, but in part that is because I have a 155% genoa. I redid most of my rod rigging about 9 months ago on a 1981 C&C 36. There are some things that you should get carefully checked out (which I did not do prior to buying my boat). For example, my spreader tips were really corroded, and had to be replaced. In redoing the rod, we replaced the fittings
