I submitted an online inquiry for teak trim but didn’t hear back. Is there a
better way to contact the owner?

It's a '74 mk2, hull #243, named "Chimo V". I was there on Saturday to look
at the boomkicker vang, but it was already gone, as was the main and quite
a few other items. Ending up getting a twin block Schaefer mainsheet setup
in ok shape and a few original cleats to add midships for spring lines. T
What battery does the alternator connect to? If your relay/contactor only
senses one of them, it would be that one ;)

Thanks Joe, I was trying to keep it simple. I guess I should have asked if the
house bank increased in voltage would it activate the ACR? My “ACR” is not made
by Blue Sea, it’s made by Heart or Xantrex and I didn’t want to assume Blue
Sea. Technically they are actually a contactor but they do
In reply to the email from Sean Conner – we are still experiencing minor
problems with the new email programs. One problem right now is the delivery of
digest emails.
If you are having problems with digest emails, let me know. One thing we have

apologies for sending this to the list, but the "request/help" id doesn't seem
to explain things enough for my problem. Before the upgrade, I used to get the
digest form of the list...once a day. I stopped getting them on 10/21. I
tried resubscribing as "join digest" but got the bad argument
The ACR is a relay, not a diode. It conducts current either way.
What is variable is which battery it senses to make decisions. It could be
house, start, or both of them. All it does is connect at X voltage and
disconnect at Y voltage. X is probably about 13.8 and Y is probably about 13.4

Yes. My fuel sender never goes below 1/4 tank because the level arm/float
lands on a baffle.

Anybody know if the (stock?) 40 gallon aluminum tank under our aft berth is
baffled?
I am planning to extend the bed and simultaneously cut an access into the
tank to clean out gunk and buildup as I assume it's never been done and
would like to know if I need to buy two access hatches or if I can
If the house bank is getting charged it could just be about amp hours in and amp hours out too! What size is the solar panel? Is there any load on the house bank like refrigeration etc? Is the solar panel mounted in uninterrupted sun? Is the panel performing, how many amps at peak? Has it been clou
My solar panel connects straight to the house battery. My alternator also
connects straight to the house battery. The ACR senses voltage on the house
battery and connects when it gets high enough to charge the start battery. The
ACR can also be connected to sense the start battery, in which case
