Turning off the squelch is key to finding noise with FM. I have found it
is not blanket white noise, it can be only on certain frequencies. What
you need to do is test every channel, not just 16. Yes it is a PITA.

I've had some recent computer issues and lost most of my bookmarks. I'd
saved info on the 3M tape and specific calk recommended for window
replacement; that got lost.
