I have a rarely use STD HORIZON WS45 that appears not to work. I even
connected the masthead unit directly to the connector at the back of the
instrument and nada. Where can I get a competent electronics person to look to
fix it?
Failing that, what instruments are out there that fill the
+1 for Molly Tasker; my new (2-year old) genoa works well, and came just as

Bruce,
I had a slow leak which I could by looking at coolant stains on the absorbent
pad kept under the engine. It is possible that your leak is slow enough that
the coolant evaporates before getting to the bilge.
To find mine, I used an ultraviolet flashlight

Before the pressure tests, etc. suggested by Josh, check/replace radiator cap.
Gasket on it may be leaking or spring may be tired after many years of life and
lots of engine time.

Buy/rent a coolant pressure tester. They attach to the radiator where the
cap screws on.
Do you have a water heater that is heated by the engine? I do and my

Check for leaks in the engine heat exchanger tubes and heads. Disconnect

Hello all,
1 have a 1994 C&C 37/40+ with a Yanmar 3JH2E engine. When I changed the
coolant last year, it seemed like about 12 oz less coolant went back in. Since
then. I've noticed the overflow tank seems to be dropping a little, and I've
topped it off 3 or 4 times. In total, I've probably a

re-passivates the stainless and Stainless Shield polish.

Hi,
We suffered quite a bit of damage due to a hard collision this season, so I’m
trying to source parts to repair. One that I haven’t been able to source is the
cast aluminum fairlead for the starboard quarter.
Here’s a few pics, including a couple of the port version, which isn’t broken.

Dennis,
Have you tried Nevr-Dull? I use it on both my boat stainless and on the

If your stainless, metal, etc. is really stained, you may want to get more than
one to finish the whole job.
