I'd like to say there is a good story, but the name Fury came with boat.
Since it's done with special paint that changes colors as you walk by, I
couldn't change it.

My J24 (and all others) lift from a single point, but there's a bar
that spans 2 keel bolts and we put a shackle around that bar.
Presumably you could rig a similar arrangement on a C&C 24.
It's a lot simpler than using slings...

FWIW, Poly Glow is not recommended for deck. Purely the hull between waterline
and toerail.
PoliGlow doesn't standup to foot traffic.

Fred,
I'm afraid to ask, but someone will, is that how you got your current
boat name?
Speaking of Admiral approved names, my wife suggested I name the
boat The Other Woman, because I was spending so much time with her.

Right, we also saw it in Schooner Cove on another trip. Went to a neat English Pub from Schooner Cove. Had to get a taxi but well worth the effort. Sam sam :-) 403-61

I also used a local Fast Signs. I had a custom logo artwork electronically.
For a nominal fee they tweaked it, converted it to several formats and gave me

Nice thing about using them is the logo is scalable. 56 inches for the boat,

Sam,
Contrary to Poly Glo recommendations I used Poly Glo on the decks. Over
time the Poly Glo became stained with air pollution and looked quite bad.
Thus, my need to remove it.

For portlights, use cast acrylic. Mine are bronze color, but yours may be

The first two are cheap and require no special tools.
