Hmmm, yes the "use sticky keys" option was turned on. Not sure how I
did that, but the option to turn it off by clicking two keys
simultaneously was also on, so that must have been how I turned it

If Telus' server goes down, I can send through our
hosted mail server outside of the Telus network, but eventually Telus will
complain about relaying not permitted, in which case I have to go back to
using mail.telusplanet.net.
