Yep, the next meeting is an AGM, you can register and pay on the spot and be a
t2 voting member. The next meeting should be May 7 (First Wednesday of every
month) You can check the website once it is updated :-)

hi Zander I tried debian - full install but it was so big it slowed me
down dont exactly have a gamin machineusing a version of mint now
itz great other than the file manager ... i have a different one that
i use mostly

Day to day Fedora and Ubuntu but I do have a Debian machine also. Arch too
:) Was the Debian running Gnome or KDE? You could look at Crunchbang or
running Debian with a lighter DE.
I see a lot of people in the group use mint.

Ubuntu and Debian here. I have been happy with both on everything from
really slow 500Mhz geode processors all the way up to many core monster
workstations.
