Just wanted to thank Robert (and probably others) for mentioning LXDE.
It's perfect. A couple little bugs (gnome soundapplet makes the system
bar go funny, and the desktop icon sort is buggy) but overall it's
exactly what I was looking for. Anyone interested in diagnosing my
bugs? :)
