Hi,
I am running clam version 0.91.2 in CentOS 5 . For the past 24 hours,
I am getting tons of errors of this message
Tue Oct 2 10:08:17 2007 -> ERROR: accept() failed: à óÿ¿^?
Tue Oct 2 10:08:17 2007 -> ERROR: ScanStream 31440: accept() failed.
Tue Oct 2 10:08:17 2007 -> ERROR: ScanStrea
Thanks. I updated the GMP library using portupgrade and then I installed
ClamAV-0.91.2 from source code. When I run pkg_info -r clamav-0.91.2 I get
"can't find package 'clamav-0.91.2' installed or in a file" and when I run
portupgrade -fR clamav-0.91.2 I get "no such installed package".

Yes, I do want to use clamscan for something it was not (quite) designed to do.
However, given
the fact that the designers built in the ability to parse multi-message email

I have to say, that is about the worst way I've seen yet to nail down a

Just read my reply to one of your mails.

Major problems with exim and clamav.
I've recently, and I think, mistakenly tried to update my FC6 to FC7 using
yum, and now all my mail has broken.
Exim would seem to be working fine, but I can't work out why Clamav isn't.
Firstly, can someone give me a quick idea how I can disable cla

In /etc/exim.conf comment or change the line that starts with:

After I first upgraded ClamAV and discovered the issue regarding digital
signatures, I used portupgrade to get the latest GNU MP library and then
re-installed ClamAV. I'm not sure what "make reinstall" would do at this
point. Thanks for your help.

Rather easy I guess, given your analysis of the RE earlier. :)
