After I first upgraded ClamAV and discovered the issue regarding digital signatures, I used portupgrade to get the latest GNU MP library and then re-installed ClamAV. I'm not sure what "make reinstall" would do at this point. Thanks for your help.

Ah-- if you want to build ClamAV from source yourself, then portupgrade won't know about it. In such a case, you'll have to rebuild it manually yourself after installing the GNU MP library.
