I did a similar upgrade and it really pays to remove all clamav binarys and
libs and install latest stable - a good peice of advice is to build packages,
it makes upgrading to latest stable release all the easier.

sais to do, but i can not see anything under /etc/sysconfig/clamav-milter.

Look in .../clamav-milter/INSTALL, that documents /etc/sysconfig/clamav-milter.

Change your clamav.conf file to run clamd as user qscand - also you need to
chown the directory where your daily viri descriptions are stored to qscand.

If i search for [EMAIL PROTECTED] or just Netsky in the clamav database I
got no results.
This virus is called in a different way for clamav?
Where can I learn the know as aliases of this viruses??

because nothing is logged in syslog and there are no X headers added to
the email that was supposed to have been virus scanned.

i simply don't see anything logged in syslog or the .log file at all.
if i run a manual scan with clamdscan, no errors...

I'm trying to get clamav(v0.73) with an older version of
qmail-scanner(v1.14) to work but am having problems getting QS to
recognize clamav.
I've successfully install clamav and can manually scan files, no issues
I've added ..

I am using smtp-vilter-1.1.4 and ClamAV0.73 on OpenBSD-3.5
Is there any way to customise smtp-vilter or ClamAV
so mails from certain domain are scanned for virus?
Or mails from certain domain are NOT scanned for virus?
