Hi all, According to the docs at , clamd can be controlled with commands like PING, RELOAD, QUIT, etc. Then, according to : "Always stop the daemon cleanly, with QUIT command or SIGTERM signal.

Hi, to minimize the time and costs of database downloads, viruses.db2 (introduced in 0.50 for polymorphic viruses) will be updated instead of the main viruses.db database. Once per week the signatures will be moved into the main database (freshclam 0.2x only downloads viruses.db). Best regards, T
