Looks like you have an old version of libclamav in your LD_
No sorry it doesn't. I know how to install clamav - I've been running it
since 0.67.

A symlink from the libclamav.1.0.3.dylib to libclamv.1.dylib
I have just uninstalled clamav 0.70 and installed clamav 0.80 on MacOSX.
Clamav itself seems to be working ok but freshclam fails to start with an
error message saying that it cannot open /usr/local/lib/libclamav.1.dylib.
When I look in the directory that file is not there but there is
libclamav.

I just upgraded my clamav installation from 0.75 to 0.80 on my RHEL 3.0
server. After merging my configuration changes, clamd is running fine.
However, I'm running into problems with freshclam:

Hello,
We're running clamav 0.65 on FreesBSD 4.7 and its been running well for over a year.
When I set it up, I didn't run it as supervised. I wanted to run that way now so I
followed the instructions in the docs on how to do it. It works but now when my cron

Even though you are running as root, freshclam drops privileges to user
"clamav". Therefore, user "clamav" must be able able to write to Clam's data
directory, which is at $PREFIX/share/clamav. It should look something like
this:
# ls -l /opt/clamav/share/clamav
-rw-r--r-- 1 clamav clamav

Hi all,
New to group, tried to search previous postings for this, read everything in the docs group. I've got freshclam updating every two hours, and it seems to work fine, with one small exception. After it successfully downloads an update, I get a line in the config file that says this:
'Error"
