I've notified Rainer Link (OAV project leader) about that,
just after Winevar.a infections. For the last 6 months, OAV database
was updated _two_ times.

I also experienced this Lirva problem today (2003-01-08).
The database for ClamAV-0.54 was up to date, but it didn't catch the Lirva
virus (the Windows box receiving the mail running Norton did detect the
virus).
When I checked the database at
http://clamav.elektrapro.com/database/
it says
