I'm wondering if someone can tell me more about what Clam's logrotate
functionality offers, in particular if it can compress and/or deletes log
files? If Clam does compress / delete log files, how is it deciding when to do
so (e.g. does it delete log files of a certain age)?

Hi,
I was going through the handle_stream in server-th.c function in clamd,
which gets called while using clamdscan with --stream option. I was able
to understand most of the functionality. But i was not able to do
understand the significance of buf->off variable.

Is cl_scanfile API provided by LibClamAV ( Clam AntiVirus 0.88.3 user
manual) a blocking call ?
Does LibClamAV support asynchronous scanning of files ? If so, which
scan option/API to be used for this ?

PLEASE, don't do this.
No virus out there uses real sender addresses.
You do more collateral damage then the virus itself.
