Just run freshclam whenever you want to update, and write a custom script to
run from cron that will scan whenever you wish. H

I have just installed (make from source ) clamav 0.88.4.
I now wish to have it run and scan for viruses.
The machine I have this on is a linux mach ( RH es3 ) running samba and is
being used for file sharing with windows machines.
