So it looks like a problem with the build system and the patch
is (at least partly) compiler specific.

maybe those cause the load-time slowdown?

Yup, thats it. Without these ndb files and on this old HW
the reload time goes from approx 90 sec to approx 35 sec.
Obvoiusly I have to
