I don't know if this helps anyone else, but on Solaris 8 I had to tell
configure explicily to use bash instead of stock sun /bin/sh . It was
generating an error on the check for the clamav user (looked like it was
trying to run a program called clamav:: )

I just want to run this by the people here before reporting it as a bug,

I got the following error when running 'make install':

with Exim, to scan our incoming email. It's been running happily for the
last month or so, but last night it broke:

I was running crle and the libgmp was not in the library path, but this is not
the reason that clamav can't work with the library (I even tested adding the
librarypath with clre). It must be a problem with gmp package.
Which version of gmp package are you using on Solaris 10?
